When I initially started reading this series in Shonen Jump, I never imagined the story would turn into science fiction in the end.

The big fan Shukotan whacks Taikobo is is harisen, a prop used in comedy skits and in manzai (two-person standup comedy).

The fan makes a loud noise when you whack someone with it, but supposedly it doesn’t hurt as much as it looks.
