I’m glad I got to work on this series before Pandora Hearts. I was able to familiarize myself with Mochizuki-sensei’s visual and prose style, so I could dive right in when I started work on Pandora Hearts.
I was listening to a lot of Nightmare’s lulu and The Gazette’s 紅蓮 while working on this tankobon. lulu for the general dark atmosphere of the song, and 紅蓮 because I thought some of the lyrics synchronized with Claudia’s situation. I still listen to the two songs while working on Pandora Hearts.
