I finally managed to go see the life-size Gundam this week. I took the Yurikamome line from Shinbashi, and got off at Odaiba station. There were signs saying “Gundam this way” from the station exit on, so I followed them to Shiokaze Park.
I was walking in the park, looking around, when I saw Gundam’s back:
The Gundam is about as tall as a five-story apartment building. As I approached it, I saw it looming above the crowds:
I waited in line to pass through between its legs. The guide told us we could touch the Gundam, but no taking photos while passing through. So I patted a foot several times.
