Now that the official announcement has been made, I can write that I’m translating/adapting Toboso Yana’s Black Butler (Kuroshitsuji).
I first encountered this series when I saw the pile of Vol. 1 at a neighborhood bookstore. I liked the cover design and the illustration, so I decided to pick it up. After reading Vol. 2, I was hooked and started buying GFantasy magazine, because I was dying to know how the story was developing. (And I was able to encounter Pandora Hearts because I started buying the magazine.)
So the only two shonen manga I read now have both been offered to me to translate…kinda strange, ne?
