The first event I went to was the GRAMM summer fashion show at the hEAVEN store. (This event was by invitation only.) You were given a set of 20 design drawings and a pre-order sheet when you entered. The event started with a reading of the prologue of the GRAMM story. One of the PR staff, who’s also a model/actor, did the reading. After the reading was over, the lights went on and the show began. Each model was holding a piece of paper with a number on it. The number corresponded to the number on the design drawing sheets, so you could compare and see what the items were actually like. You could also stop the models and check out the details of the clothes if you wanted to. About half the items the models wore were sold off as one-of items, and the rest were displayed later as samples for pre-order items.
The second event was the MelT Private Salon at the MelT store. The back of the store can be partitioned by curtains, and this was where the salon was held. You got one private hour with designer Takeuchi-san, where she showed and explained the various early summer items available for pre-order, as well as items that were initially available only at the salon. You could try on all the items this time (unlike the February event, where you could just look and guess at the sizes).
