Sakura Sweets

March 22nd, 2009

I bought some sakura macaron at the Shiseido parlour. (Yes, they make sweets and have a cafe in Ginza too.)

I had Sakura tea with them. Sakura tea does not contain any tea leaves. When you pour hot water, you get this:

The “tea leaves” is a salt-pickled cherry blossom. You can put one in warm sake or a cocktail too.
