As December is my birth month, I asked for the free birthday service the last time I was there. (You’re eligible for this service once a year, after you’ve “gone home” at least four times.)
I ordered the December dessert set, and a Happy Birthday message was written in chocolate on the plate. Then the butler of the day and his staff came to my table congratulated me and gave me this:
I received a packet of the tea of the month and a message card (with a waxed swllowtail seal!) signed by the butler of the day. The December tea is “Psyche”, a peachy fruit blend tea.
